Default groan...another delay

Friend of the family moved out of state and left this behind. Been sitting outside in the weather for about a year. My daughter gave the the puppy dog eyes so we began working on it last night. Looks like it will take about a week out of my restore schedule.

On the bright side she was out there "helping" last night as we started to do the fixing. Perhaps if she adopts a mechanical interest then perhaps I will have a restoration helper in the works for the vette.

Don't ever lessen the enjoyment of having your daughter being with you to help. Too soon they will be gone. Have fun

Enjoy the time you will spend with your daughter. The time you spend will be memories forever and are so much more important than finishing your car on time. Take pictures and enjoy. Dave

My advice--an air cooled VW bug engine will make that baby scream.

All good. It will be time well spent and good memories for you both. Picking out a prom dress is just a blink away.

ha ha...I was sitting at lunch today daydreaming...

What if I glass mold a scale version of a vette body and put on that thing...better add more than just a week on the real restore if I did that...

note to self...do not mention this idea to my daughter.....
