MINE:
1966 Sold New by John Geer Chevrolet in Redding, CA.
Car is Still in Redding, I own it and still live in Redding
Sold in California and now lives 10,000 miles away in Australia. It comes from the same planet LOL. I think if my car could talk it would tell me it's home sick and needs to visit it's mates in the states I'm sure. Stewy
My '66 has traveled the country . . . delivered new in Detroit - I bought it in Western Pennsylvania in 1975. During my 36 years of ownership, it spent 26 years in the Pittsburgh area, 2 year in Minnesota, and the last 8 years in Maryland!
Mine was sold by Vic Potamkin Chevrolet in Miami Beach, made it to Colorado sometime before 1972 and then on to Minnesota in 1979. I still resides in MN.

Stewy I was hoping that you would chime in. So far you are the long distance champ. What year did you car leave the states for Australia?

Late1997 it left Ohio Pro Team. It left and was transported to California and Containerised there, it left there and went to China then Melbourne Australia. I think the whole journey took 4 months in total. Stewy
My '67 was sold by a little country dealership (John Falb & Son Chevrolet) in Elgin, Iowa (they only sold two Corvettes a year) and later went to Colorado, Illinois, Wisconsin, and then to Minnesota, where I found it ten years ago and had it shipped to Michigan.
We've had 4 midyears, some sold new in California, some not so much.
My Dad bought his Blue/Blue 65 A/C PG Coupe in Pacifica, just south of San Francisco in the early 90s. Shipping Report said it was originally sold in Burlingame, on the other side of the Peninsula.
Our 66 Mosport 350 Horse Coupe was sold originally in Paso Robles, Cal.
The Silver 66 350 Horse Coupe was originally sold in Miami Florida.
The biggest surprise was my 65 300 Horse Coupe. I bought it in '85 and it had black/yellow California license plates on it at the time and we just figured it started out being sold somewhere in California...until we got the shipping report that said it was original sold at Rodenfels Chevrolet in Cleveland Ohio. Our guess is that it got relocated out here within a year or two of being sold based on the Black/Yellow plates starting with 'R'.

My recently acquired '72 was sold in Chandler, AZ at Chapman Chevrolet (previously Bender Chev on N Arizona Ave) and now resides in Tempe, about 6 miles away. Never been registered out of state, and the absolutely rust free frame and birdcage backs that up.
