I know just what you mean. I had cataract surgery on my left eye a few years ago. It improved my vision so much that I retested for my driver's license and passed the eye test w/o glasses. That was a big relief!

Carpet looks very good. Nice job!

How about getting your avatar pic made into a sticker and adding it to the glove box door? (JK, LOL) Or, are you married?

Did you put the jute padding under the carpet? And if so, did it make the carpet a little wide?

By the way, It's looking great. Been doing mine for 5 years now, and hope to cruise around in about a month. I opened my wallet up and haven't been able to close it for five years now. OUCH!

A few more milestones today. The headlight buckets were tough to get in without scratching them. My good neighbor helped me.

I did lay down some heat and noise reduction under the carpet with no problems on lining up the edges.

Headlights taking longer than expected but I am determined to get them right tomorrow morning. Then antenna and rear valance with new rings for the exhaust will be next along with locks. Those tiny C clamps will be a pain. I am going to the store to get a couple of extra ones in case I drop one in the door. I am really happy with the paint job. Its buffed and looks really good. Will get pic's tomorrow for you all.

I need your help. I ordered 1964 exhaust brezels and they are a lot small than my originals. The vender said I might have a different year panel. Did they make different sizes and if you know what year is the larger ones it will help me.
I promise this weekend more pics and a video!
thanks guys!

There were three different rear exhaust panels - 1963, 1964-65, and 1966-67, and each had different tailpipe bezel designs and attachments. Don't remember the details offhand.

Thanks Yogi, It's taken 7 months to do. I have the bumpers, the inside panels and console to do. It sure feels good to have only a bag full of bolts to put on her.
