Absolutely beautiful '63!!! Take some pics of the vin tag and trim tag attached to the "Z" bar under the glove box. Also, if possible, a pic of the engine stamp pad located at the right front of the engine block. In your case, under the A/C compressor.

The trim tag says 490C I know the 490 indicates vinyl does the C indicate A/C?
My red/red '63 is 490L; IIRC the "L" designates a radio....
Red/red is the best IMO...
And, yes, the restoration looks fresh - no center console on a car looks that good after its driven a while...nor the seats...
VERY nice, door fit is very good, weatherstrip seems fresh and correct, front bumpers look straight and even the windshield wiper positioning is well done.
You've got a winner there....
FYI - your '64 wheels weren't issued by anybody...an owner bought them and put them on after purchase.
Also, '63 was basically a rolling prototype for the whole year.....changes occurred monthly on many aspects of these cars.
Everything from body mods to transmission tyoes to spare tire tub locks -- you name it. Point being, if you are into originality the VIN number and production date of your car determines its unique configuration within the model year.
If somebody added a tasteful, fairly original installation of a factory A/C setup - there is nothing wrong with that at all......

I think "C" indicates a "base unit" car, and was not in use during the time period when AC was offered in 63 (April-August).
The information I have indicates 490C would be a 63 coupe with red vinyl, and without AC. A red vinyl AC coupe would more likely be coded as 490Q, and almost certainly would have been proceeded by an "X".
This is coming from an NCRS publication, that's about 15 years old, so it may not be completely current.
In the upper left hand corner of the trim tag, below the word Chevrolet, will be a body build date. It's made up of a letter indicating the assembly month, and a number for the week of the month. If you post the date code here, it will help in deciphering the trim code.
Welcome to the Corvette Brotherhood... you are in the class of 2015!
More pics and more info as you get it. There are some REALLY good guys here... they are going to try to come off as tough and crotchety, but that is just a ruse meant to scare off the insincere!

Some of that is jealousy - you did hit the jackpot on the crown jewel of C2s IMO....
