I found the white fuel injected '58, with the small hubcaps, blue racing stripe and a bunch of racer decals on the passenger side of the hardtop to be very interesting. Thanks for the posting.

Great video. Enjoyed seeing the '36 Ford, the old Nash, as well as the other details.....what about the "Vette with every other grille tooth removed. Interesting. A bunch of car folks having fun and a picnic....57 years later, a bunch of us are doing it much the same. Thanks for posting this!

Beany's chain stared in Long Beach in the very early '50s, they spread to a few more stores before the McDonald's juggernaut swept most of the earlier chains aside.
The rally stop along the windbreak (eucalyptus trees and farmland) looks exactly like Orange County's Irvine Ranch did in 1958. It's all houses, shopping centers and freeways today.
I might have known the guy in the wheelchair. A fellow member of Corvettes of Southern California had a candy green SWC with red interior and hand driving controls. When he'd open the door at night, it lit up like a Christmas tree!
