Thanks for sharing your project. Let me know if you put it in any car shows here in So Cal. I'd love to see it.
You mentioned you did a frame on restoration. Did you have to do much to the frame and suspension?

I'm taking it to Ruby's Diner in Whittier Friday afternoon for their cruise night and I might take it to Rotolo Chevrolet in Fontana for their Saturday evening car show. Since that's pretty far I might trailer it.

Great job, not too many people out there who would stick with it for 10 years to do it right. This would be a good example of the labor involved and the time and effort it takes to bring some of these cars back and the reason why so many people with good intentions take them apart and never finish.

Frame and suspension was in pretty good shape. Rust free car.

Super job you've done! Beautiful on the inside & outside. What a smooth ride too, as you cruised down the road in the video. Its amazing that you were able to do all this as a frame on restoration. Well done!

Looks great!! I did the same thing and got it on the road last summer. Still have a few kinks to work out like the new rebuilt gas gage that's not even close. New tank and sending unit even. Reads twice what it should. No clue what to do about it!

A beauty...for sure...
It occurred to me when I read the title of this post that every ride in a C1 is sort of a "shake down" ride

Gorgeous (and admirable) restoration. Thanks for sharing your videos … engine sound is not far off from the 6 banger in my 1931 Chevy - that sweet sound of a 6. I have a little ways to go on the restoration of my 1954 but looking forward to my first drive.
