What the heck......interesting pedal arrangement! I take it it's a powerglide, but what's with the gas pedal bigfoot on the other side of the tunnel?

They said he was a big 'ole boy and that's how he drove it..straddling the console with a leg in each footwell!!

I agree. Some 'barn finds' are more classic than others. This one is a hack job. And the car has very low miles on it....this was done when it was nearly new. That windscreen is a mindblower, among other things........

This 1963 Corvette sat dormant for nearly 50 years.

the STP decal on the hood scoop scoop is too much.

Kinda cool, a real window into the drag racer's mentality. The guy who bought my dad's '63 fuelie replaced the irs with a solid axle, threw away the injection system, and cut the hood out for a big scoop.
I was only 12 years old but I seem to remember crying when I heard about it

So if you found a nice 63 hood for it and replaced the rear cut up flares whats so bad about the body. The tach indicates it's a high hp car and the inside does not look to me to be any worse than others I have seen.
That being said, you guys are correct in that it's a low budget attempt at a race car.
