If he wants 5-600hp why convince him otherwise that wasnt his question

Easy to get an honest 500-525 out of a driveable 383 these days it fits, just dont cork it up with rams horns of a stock intake have some fun with it
400+ to the tire will keep you real busy and a Camry wont walk past you...the L79s and all are coolbut lets face it super slow by todays stds

Plenty of stock ones out there its not for everyone

You can do this easily for way less than 15k including other upgrades (cooling clutch gears etc) .

Everyones got an LSx....they are nice but to me look way out of place. in 10 yrs it will be like seeing a TPI conversion and a tweed interior
