2023 C2 of the Year Finalist - Unmodified
Would take up too much valuable floor space for me and high cost. Someone (would like to give him credit, but can't remember) on this forum posted a simple and very inexpensive (less than $20) solution. Go to Lowe's or HD and buy a length of steel pipe, a long threaded rod, two washers, two wing nuts that fit the rod and two rubber coated hooks you can screw into wall studs.
Cut the pipe so it fits snugly between the two side flanges that are used to bolt the hard top to the car. With the pipe between the flanges, run the rod thru the pipe and secure it with the two washers and wing nuts. Find a location on your garage or basement wall to hang the hard top and screw in the two hooks. Just hang the hard top on the hooks from the steel pipe. Quick, easy and cheap.
