66 BB on Flee Bar
Went to look at a 66 project today that was run on e-bay recently. The auction ended with one bid of $20k. I had been watching the auction but missed it ending. I messaged him to let me know if the deal does not go through. Two days after the auction he messaged and said it was still for sale as no one contacted to make payment.
Today I viewed the car and asked why he didn't resist it? He mentioned that his wife messed up the auction. What does that mean? After talking to him more I think there was some funny business going on with the auction. I could be wrong but just want to let anyone interested to be careful.
BTW the car is very rough . Needs everything restored. Who ever removed the engine / not original, broke the correct intake manifold and distributor and broke off all the exhaust studs flushwith the original heads.
