Ok, I found out my Fitech Meanstreet 800 fuel pressure regulator went out on me, so I'm having to put in my own inline regulator. The good news is, I can now block off the return line on the Fitech, and instead use that return for my regulator and bring it up to 58 psi, instead of the 43 that the Meanstreet 800 was internally regulated at, giving me fuel delivery up to 1000 Hp.

The other day I recorded the idle after some tuning for idle quality. This camshaft, with just 5 in Hg, needs to be set with the EFI to over 16 AFR at idle, because the oxygen sensor is also reading the oxygen from the overlap in the cam, in order to keep the plugs from fouling out. Plugs look great at idle with this idle setting. After 1200 rpm, it starts to richen to 12.5 at WOT for max power.

Default Hurst Line-Lock Installation Test

Here's my baby burnout I did with my new line lock system I installed. Worked great to lock the front wheels.

I just didn't want to eat up my new $100 tires on the street. My wife apparently gets a little nervous. LOL

I couldn't resist putting the toon of my car I had done to put on my arm. It's looking really angry right now before it's had a chance to heal. I love it!

Can you tell I"m in love with my '66?

LOL different strokes....LS3 is a very nice motor for sure...nothing compares to raw cubes though!

That is going to kick arze...shaft rockers Im assuming? which heads?
Think youll be fine wiht a tight ring pack, good machining is everything.
The LS has been using them forever they last forever. I dont see anyone using the old thick iron stuff anymore.

tpi421vette is running a 46x?? sbc runs 9s on it with a much smaller cam, 245 heads. Ought to have a rocketship on your hands.
