and two more things:

- a dealer stamp of 4 67 on the VIN tag, indicating that the car was first sold in April 1967

- a suspicous looking bird cage cross bar holding the trim and VIN tags, that has been resprayed with some heavy coating with runs and sags that appears to cover up some significant rust now showing through. I would be very suspicous of the entire bird cage structure on that car.

Was hoping to de-mystify a bit more of the trim tag. I couldn't find that paint code anywhere

First off, Welcome to the Corvette Forum.
Looks like it is going to be a hell of a play toy, pretty cool it was built in mid April and figure it was shipped to a dealer somewhere and also sold in April. Pretty quick. Makes you think someone may have ordered it.
What are you going to do with the car, put it back original or make a race car out of it? Does it have original motor but with that paint job one would almost thing it was or is going to be a race car. Where are you located?

Thanks Mike. The last owner was playing with it on the track but let it sit forever and then sold it to me for a song. I was going to restomod it with an SRIII frame and c5/c6 running gear and suspension but I got a new job and I'm moving so I decided to sell her. Would have been a blast but too much on my plate with the new gig.
