Thanks. Those look nice but they don't seem to offer much more side support than the stock C2 seats. Anyone use them and feel they are a big enough improvement to justify the expense and trouble?
I just ordered a set of Cobra "Stuttgart" seats from Sube Sports. I custom ordered them in white vinyl to match my interior and added the low profile aluminum adjuster ***** so that I shouldn't have any clearance issues. At 19" wide, they're the same as the factory seats so they should fit pretty well. The Stuttgart is a reproduction of the late 60's and early 70's seats that came in the 911 so while not technically correct for our cars, it should look period correct. I also ordered a set of 3 point seat belts in contrasting navy blue. It should look good in the factor two toned interior...will post pics once I get it all installed.
These are out of a 92 corvette. They are electric and have the lumbar pump. I did buy new bladders. I moved the forward/back and up/down to the sides of the seats. I also added a breaker for the electrical connection. I bought some dye to touch up some wear. Bolted a bracket to the original location for the new seats. I also installed the shoulder style seat belts. If you really want to lock yourself in you can put on the belts and then move the seat forward electrically.

A very popular seat that fits well in these cars (as well as the C3) is the Fiero seat. Do a quick search here and on the C3 Forum and you'll get quite a few hits. MrMikes specializes in adapting these seats to a wide variety of cars.
I put a set of Recaro LS seats in my '73 convertible and it was tight, but they fit. I mounted them directly to the floor and with the hardtop on, my head would touch the headliner. They are an awesome seat however and it's tough to beat the strength and quality.
