Project car coming to Carlisle

That is the NEW CAMO Corvette from Real Tree who makes Camo clothing for hunters. You just put this CAMO CORVETTE next to a field of cut corn or beans at the edge of the field and woods in the summer so the Deer are custom to it and you now have a hunting shed to hunt out of and it will keep you out of the weather somewhat. It is called CAMO CORVETTE newest thing on the hunting market. Be the first in your hunting club to have one. It has a top on it in the first pic's. That will help keep the rain and snow off of you while hunting.

I wouldn't take it for free. It would be too much of a PITA to deal with, and it's too depressing to look at for yard art. The previous owner who let it deteriorate was an absolute moron.

Whoever owned that certainly didn't let grass grow under their feet...

C1 of Year Finalist (performance mods) 2019
First off saying "if it has a numbers matching drive train" doesn't say much as there were several engines available from a base (little demand/value) to a hipo FI (high demand/value).
Without a personal inspection I don't know how anyone could begin to put a value on it. Based on the vegetation growing on it, it had to be in a moist area which would lead me to believe the frame is seriously rusted so no value for that. So that leaves a body and hard top from the ONE picture of the car. With the vegetation growing on it the fiberglass may be soft and deteriorated so it would not even have value for a resto mod.

It can be saved, but damn!!!! The fiberglass has to be mush for vegetation to be growing in it like that and obviously the front passenger suspension is so rusted it broke away. Sad! On the upside, someone with super deep pockets will pay more than it's worth just for a good restoration story. In my opinion, C1 and C2 Corvettes are all worth saving.

Maybe you should tell him you'll pickup the taxes and insurance on the Carlisle fairgrounds and also let him know you'll pay his employees their salaries.

Burning Brakes
I had plenty of parts left over from my GTO restoration and thought I might put them to use and bring that wasting away (outdoors for many years) Lemans back to life. Guy thought his near hunk of junk was worth its weight in gold. I had since moved away, but I do recall 10 years later that Lemans was still frame rails to the sod, now rotted away beyond any repair.
I kills me when a 'legit' person makes a legit offer on something, and the current owner has delusions about what it is worth... and years later the vehicle is nothing more than a rusted out flower planter.

Better hope there are no cattails growing there, it might get designated as a wetland and any further development would be prohibited!
