I adjusted camber today, took 4 tries to get it close enough. My camber bolts aren’t marked as shown in the pictures so just guessed at it. Should be okay until I can get new wheels & tires for it. BTW, what is the largest tire I can use on a 15x7 wheel on the rear?

Finally fixed my vibration problem thanks to all of you. In summery, I changed the shackle bolts to get the rear spring back to stock. That corrected the half shaft angles. Reset camber on rear, changed the rear wheels and tires from 15x8.5 with 255/60R-15 to 15x7 with 215/70R-15.
Runs and rides nice now, very happy!

I have 235/60r15 on the rear 7"rim, no rubbing anywhere, 215's on the front. I would not chance going any wider for fear of clearance issues

Great thread of how this forum can help solve problems...

I'm waaaay late to the party but holy cow! Not sure I have seen that much deflection on half shafts and have them stay in the car...that much angle and I am surprised the joints didn't explode.

Bubba applied a whole series of "adjustments" to get those large rear tires to fit...when there is a will, there is a way...

A mid year vette's stance looks the best when it is at stock height or lowered evenly (just a smidge).

Glad you got it sorted...
