Pat, looking good! You are flying through this project. Is the body paint going to be the long pole in the tent?

LOL!

Car's looking great Pat!
Thanks Bud, I did go with the Super T-10, along with the 400 output shaft. I do have the original T-10, but I tore out second gear so fast in my '62, I thought I would go ahead with a stronger unit right from the start in the '63. The numbers matching unit, along with the original shifter, will remain on my shelf.

Nothing like bang'n a good second gear------well, right up until the big crunch. One more thing, did you go with the shorter driveshaft too? I've read the big output shaft Muncie and T-10's are a little longer.

Thanks for the info Pat!---And fingers crossed for you and those up and your area.

Hey Shannon,

The Super T-10's are a bit longer. I went ahead and had my driveshaft shortened by 3/4". I now wish I hadn't as I think they actually went a little more, and the driveshaft is shorter than I wish it to be.

I'm still considering replacing the driveshaft with a longer one.

Also, so far we have escaped serious fire in our immediate area. Very sad for those a bit to the north west of us.

Take care,

Pat

Big milestone today!

Had some friends come by and we made short order of placing the body back onto the frame!

Great to have these guys help!

Wonderful stage to be at ..... congrats, Pat!
You say "friends," but we all know these are your merry band of employees who live in a barracks beside your garage and respond to your every beck and call for assistance, and who are usually kept hidden! How else could your project have progressed so fast? It's the only explanation that makes sense.

Looks awesome Pat. I’m glad Lou said it because I was going to. The secret is out.

That's great. It's like an old fashioned barn raising.

That one young fella looks like he could have lifted it all by himself!

Congrats.
