I captured the picture as a .jpg, then opened it in Mircosoft Paint, then rotated in 180 degrees in Paint, then saved it.

I'm sure there's a way to do it on this site as well. I need to get into the habit of previewing, then maybe that would help.

I'd be a little concerned about the lower spring/shock unit attachment to the bracket on the axle - it's a heavily cantilevered load with a single-shear attachment.

That's the first thing I noticed too. Needs some support.

You may be right.

Jim Meyer has been doing this for sometime and actually fabricates entire frames. I don't have any intension to do more than maybe an autox with the car so I think I'll be ok.

My little Hemi only makes 325 hp so nothing like some of these 500+ hp monsters.

Looks pretty much like the standard Jim Meyer 4 link setup. Jim has been doing this a while, I think you are OK.

But, I also think there are more ponies in that hemi. Some selective tuning and tweaking should locate a few of them.

Enjoy.

The bolt JohnZ was referring to, is it tight, looks like the shock would "float" on the bolt.

This, and a simple gusset made of plate welded between the shock mount arm and the forward arm bracket would increase the strength of the spring mount by about 10X. I would totally do that....can be done on-car in minutes. Hell...you could even drill holes and bolt a strap between the two at the big end of the triangle on each side of the mount, and that would help a bunch. Anything to keep the end of that bracket from flexing back and forth.

As mentioned you have all the load on ONE end of the lower shock mount bolt, I'm sure the shock bolt is grade 8. Just to be SAFE you might want to have that shock bolt bracket modified to add a brace on the open end.
JUST TO BE SAFE....

I'm running almost 700HP with matching torque.

Cool build..nothing better!

Very nice!
700 hp phew, My car sounds cool and draws some attention when I open the hood but my 911 will probably run away from it. I'm going to enjoy driving it with the top down, from gas station to gas station as we used to say.
