I think GM should have made the C-2 with them. Go for it, I love 'em!

I've often thought of doing that to my 62

I like them. Years ago I put a sequential unit from a T-Bird into my '68 Caprice. Electromechanical in design like an old pinball machine. I still remember the sound the unit made.

For the younger crowd, this was a uniquely California phenomenon in origin, back in the day (Jan & Dean: DEAD MAN'S CURVE ---"all the Jag could see were my six tail lights"). It started there and morphed to the rest of the country. Great look.

I'm in !! They were part of the 1959 Stingray Concept car, Would be consistent with bumper width/spacing and with 3 light top line Impala vs 2 light Biscayne. My guess is bean counters had a say.

I have recently purchased a 'barn find' Right Hand Drive C2 which was sold new in Hong Kong with the 6 lights - I think to comply with local registration requirements. They are not sequential. Did any US C2s ever have 6 lights from the factory? I'm trying to find out as much as I can about my car's history.

No, not from the factory on production cars.

Not many mods make me think "this is how they should have come from the factory". This is one. Well done!

OMG, you modified your Corvette to suit your tastes instead of following the "HOLY GRAIL" of keeping it original no matter how dumb it is. LOL!
Seriously, I really like it, and I especially appreciate the efforts you went to to document the process for others that may be considering it.
Congratulations on a well thought out and well executed modification. This mod is both tasteful and useful.

Perfect!.....love them, and the LEDs are really bright. They're sure not going to miss those from behind.
