c1 carpet
Does anyone make C1 carpet without the shifter hole cut in the carpet? I have a 1960 Corvette with a 6-speed transmission and the shifter is mounted in the middle of the tunnel and further back than the stock shifter. All the carpet sets I've been able to see have the stock shifter location already cut in the carpet.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Steve

If you call Al Knoch I'm sure they will arrange to sell you carpet that does not have the shifter hole cut...
I attached some installation tips...

Mine came from ACC, as a lot of them do, and it didn't have the shifter hole.

OK, thanks for the info. I will check with them. My tunnel is also a bit larger just behind where the shifter is but I think I can work around that.

Yes but I am sure if you ask they will send you a carpet kit WITHOUT it being cut.

Must be something they just started doing. Installed mine about two years ago.

When I called them yesterday they said all of the carpet sets for 1960's had the center hole cut in it. I asked if they could sell me one without the hole cut, they said no. I'm going to call Al Knock today and say what they say.
