By no means was I suggesting you go to the extreme amount of work to replace the rear glass to get the tint you're looking for...As I said in my post.."As a point of color reference...".
BTW is this for the hardtop on the '62 I inspected for you here in San Antonio? How are you liking the car? Post some pictures for us!

You should see how nice it looks on a Goldwood Yellow C2 coupe, or a Glen Green '65.....I have Soft Ray on my Blue Charcoal '65 GTO and it totally classes the car up, IMO.

Yep, one and the same hardtop Paul and I love the car. Some gaskets, seals and fluids to change, plus screws, bolts and nuts to tighten up, but that was to be expected from a hangar queen. It puts a smile on my face every day when I go out in the garage.

Definitely - my long gone Glen Green '65 was gorgeous with the factory tint. Sorry it had to go, but I had no garage for it. Sad day.
