You can use the Lime Book at the top of this page in the "sticky" section to decode this for you.
P.S. This is your third post in two days and you haven't thanked one person for their help yet. Keep it up and nobody will help you in the future.

Not from 1965. If it were from 1965 it would start with an F for Flint. The V for Flint was used starting in 1967. No HV code used in '67 or '68. There is an HV in '69. In '69 it = 350ci 255hp with a 350 turbohydramatic. What is the date on the block?

It’s on the back of the block on the flange where the bellhousing/ auto trans attaches to the block. It will be a letter then the day and then the year. Like A 10 6. Or January 10 1966

I have to admit that I get a little kick every time someone says "Use the Lime Book in the sticky section at the top of the page".

Regarding the engine, as indicated earlier it is definitely 1967 or later because of the V at the beginning of the engine code.

Does the engine pad also have any other numbers on it. I am curious if this year passenger car engine also had a VIN derivative.

Then you should go back to that post and state the follow up. It should not be left hanging for others to keep trying to help when you don't have a problem. Always post the resolution, it will help everyone.
