We purchased the entire inventory, tooling etc. Everything is being moved to Mechancisville, VA but the parts are not changing. This is a massive inventory so we have a bunch of work to do on all of this as it just happened. We will have new part numbers but our salestaff will be able to look up by the old LICS part number if need be.

I tried last night to place an on-line order. At that time I saw no notice on their website that they were not taking orders, but their e-store was inoperative. I tried to call them this morning, and it rolled to voice mail. The recording said that they were catching up with orders from last week, and were not taking new orders at this time.

I gave up and found the parts I was looking for on Keen Parts's site, so I placed my order there. Hopefully, the downtime at LICS is only short-term.

Live well,

SJW

I placed an internet order Monday and they filled it and shipped it this morning.
They we’re closed for vacation for about a week so I think they are playing catch-up
This is my go to vendor now.

Actually, they sold their inventory to Zip, not the building, people, etc.

Sad news. Everything I bought there was quality parts. Other companies not so much.

What do they plan to do with no inventory, an empty building and people with nothing to sell?

So does this also mean we will have a certain lag time for ordering parts that seems only LICS had?

Anything you order will be at the same speed as when you order any of our parts unless it is out of stock and we are producing it. We purchased their inventory and tooling so there are going to be items that we manufacture and some that we may bring back. There will be no difference in ordering and original LICS part or a part that Zip manufactured, they are now all one in the same.

I do hope Zip will continue finding vendors to produce quality parts that may be in short supply and for special applications. I have never bought anything form Zip, only LICS, so I will keep my fingers crossed they can deliver as LICS did over the years.

Paragon used to be very good but they were bought by Coker, so we'll see how that goes. I usually buy from Zip and have been very satisfied with them. Give them a chance.

You will see no difference in the parts. They are the same parts on my shelf that were on theirs. We are constantly hunting parts and we have always had a great relationship with LICS so this worked out for them and us.
