If you're worried about what your garage looks like, have your wife come out and organize it for you......

This thread has been some great inspiration for me to get out early this Saturday morning and clean up my garage. You know how it is though, Saturday morning and any yahoo that drives by thinks that it's a garage sale. "Back off man, don't try to low ball me, I know what these old phone books and newspapers are worth, I know what I have !"

If you reverse your house’s vacuum hose toward that Ferrari, it automatically becomes a garage find and the value doubles.

Hey Doc, You have no reason to be envious (one of the 7 deadly sins) with that great collection of fine cars. I think you have a great storage system in that garage. Plus it's much bigger than mine.

Here is my half of the garage. I have upgraded my bubba status to level 2 as I put my new parts on furniture dollies so I can roll them out of the way when I move the wife’s car out to work on my car. Also have parts on the creeper to roll out from under the car. Only getting half of a garage is fun when you do a frame off build.

Does this still count as Shiner in the garage fridge?

So I show this to my wife, and she says "Oh, that's a wonderful idea. Why don't you do that?" To which I reply "Yeah, well what happens when I need the furniture dollies?" You know that look you get when you've said something dumb to your wife... I got the extended version!!!

How can you guys post photos of Shiner's offerings at this time of year and not include their Oktoberfest?

Now I'm not dissing anyone.... actually, quite the contraire... I'm very happy for you and I know you're truly proud of your great cars and pristine shops, perfect driveways, and beautiful lawns around your facility. Honestly I'm quite envious; not jealous, not begrudging or covetous .... just envious.

I started cleaning up my messy shop last week; a process I go thru every 3-4 years, and I wondered how many of you guys DON'T have your car in a "Taj Mahal" type setting. So I snapped a few pix, and decided to create a thread for us clutter mongering, shade-tree guys.

Out here on the ranch, I commonly pull a car out of the shop and park it in the dirt so I can work on a tractor, farm truck, shredder, trailer, agricultural sprayer, etc; Yep, PURE SACRILIGE, I know!

So, for those of you whose cars sit on UNcheckered (or worse) floors in drafty, greasy, hot/or cold (at the wrong time) shops/garages.....THIS THREAD'S FOR YOU, my brothers!

A sad thing is that these pics were taken AFTER my big clean-out! LOL

So, Enjoy............... (or cringe)!

And come on, my messy brothers, snap a pic, and see if you can top this shxx:

After posting this, if I need to delete this thread and submit my resignation to the forum, I do understand....

If you're looking for a crowded, and messy, garage, here is where I keep my 56 Ford Victoria. I have exactly one and one half inches space on either side of the car. I regularly pull it in and out, very carefully. I have another garage which provides only one and one half inches clearance for the pickup truck to get in and out, and at that, I've got to pin up the door each time so it doesn't slip down to scrape or block the roof going under.
