Finally took some pictures of my '64
Finally have the car back on the road. It has been idle since 1986 when I entered my residency. Essentially finished a body on restoration.
The back story is that my Dad bought me the car in 1970. It was to be an incentive to stay in school which was successful. I completed undergrad, some graduate work, dental school and an oral surgery residency.
This project has taken 20+ years. I rebuilt the 4 speed, replaced the clutch, front suspension (had a friend do that), a/c compressor seals replaced (had that done), stripped the paint and did a little fiberglass repair (did the painting myself in me garage with a homemade spray booth-thanks DUB-TIP and Porchdog for a lot of guidance), stripped the interior and restored, and rewired the car. The projects that remain are to replace the trailing arm bushings and have the bearings on the spindles checked and charge the a/c. I have an R-12 system and bought 30 lbs in the '70s after learning that it would not be available.
We all enjoy these photos and I am happy to share. I don't need any accolades.

Fantastic! I love it! A twin to my White 64 Coupe, except the wheels and the pipes (and the AC).
Great move keeping it, and restoring it!
