I got this motor into the shop and pulled a head. It has the double hump heads and 30 over pistons. Also verified 327 crank. I've inquired on other forums, nobody knows about the XXD... anything from service replacement to pre production. Consensus is '67 Vette.
This thing worth anything? I'm in MT and don't want to screw around shipping heavy stuff. At the junction of deciding to rebuild or go crate... hate to scrap it if it's something someone needs for a project.
values on old motors mostly goes to the rarity of the suffix code and condition on motor. if its a standard bore block that is rebuildable with a rare or sought after code then people will pay good money for. if the block is over bored and suffix is a from a 372//250 impala then not so much.
