I guess the premise of that article also applies to those of us who used clothespins to attach playing cards to our bikes when we were kids.
I had two cards on the back wheel and two card on the front wheel so I was especially bad.

Yep, those newer imports that richen the mixture and dump their exhaust to decibel levels that puncture ear drums tell me loads about their narcissistic personalities. I'm confident that's none of us.

I think this article was really meant towards those idiots with the Ricers that have removed and or illegally modified exhaust components, put in straight pipes, and detuned their engines to purposely sound like machine gun fire when they decelerate. The loudest side pipes don't even come close to this noise level which they "think" makes them cool but in reality are just a nuisance to the rest of us. Same crowd has the whole trunk devoted to huge oversized Amps and speakers. It's all about them.

The worst are the obnoxiously loud pickup trucks. If there is an upside to the EV mandate it is the eventual elimination of those trucks.
