I just purchased a frame off restored 66 convertible 350hp/factory a/c car in Knoxville Tn over the weekend (Red/black, pwr strg, windows, rebuilt motor etc!!!!!!!!!!!! ) and now need to get it to Scottsdale. Called the usual boys, ie: Intercity, Passport, Reliable, Sunday, Horseless.......due to the storms in Florida everyone is backed up and will be 4-6 weeks before I can see it!!!!! Now, I don't know about you, but when you find the right car, wire the money you want the car now! I do not mind waiting a couple of weeks...but geez, 4-6 or pay the double price premium that they want to just bring 1 car! Anyone out there have any ideas/suggestions? Thanks in advance!

I know that this might be a radical suggestion but how about driving it?? You can be looking at it 3 to 4 hours after you leave your house and you can enjoy seeing the country over the next couple of days driving that beauty back home. Just a thought....
For my own quoting, I clicked on the departure state and then on the delivery state and cross referenced what companies were listed for both. I figured those companies may focus on my area more than others.

When I bought my '58 in Vallejo, CA (I live outside Seattle), I contemplated driving it home, but wimped out. However, I had several co-workers who readily volunteered to drive it home for me.

had the same problem with my newly paid for but not in my garage 65 baby - unknown to me I had decided to buy right during the Pebble Beach show, all the biggies were tied up for weeks - had to just be patient, a trait I do not possess in any great quantity . . .
I've used Norman Broadway numerous times and he is AWESOME!!!!! One thing to note is that this is not an enclosed trailer, which may or may not be an issue for you... I would try and give him a call and see what he can do, he might know someone who is coming your way...
just out of curiosity, what are you wanting to pay for something like this? I have a trucking company and I haul a lot of cars and engines for Lingenfelter from Dallas to Indiana...and Tennessee to Arizona is one of our lanes as well...PM me and let me know.
