Check out this 'poor '69 I saw today
I appraised a house in South Central LA today and this Corvette was in the backyard rotting away. From a distance I thought it was a hard top vert but when I got close I realized this coupe has a VINYL TOP...completely covered the t-tops and everything. It's a base motor automatic, power everything from what I could see and has A/C. The woman said her son was "storing" it for a friend. This car looks like it hasn't moved in decades and still has the original blue license plates on it from back in the day. Anyway, here's the pics...brace yourselves.

Looks like her son is taking real good care of it for his friend.

What a shame. Looks like it has been setting for a long while. The friend must be long gone now, if he has let it set out there like this.
"Hey man, its only 10 years, I can do that standing on my head. You don't mind if I store my vette at your mom's place do you?"
"Naw mang, It'll be waiting on you when you get out."
