Stupid question.
I cant locate the dipstick for my automatic transmission. can anyone please show me exactly where it is located (photo would be nice.) i think it must be broken or something, it should be there???
When canging oil on the transmission, additive???
PS The car is an original 73 454 w\ automatic transmission.

This is a little misleading because there is no intake manifold or distributor shield, but it's back there on the passenger side near the plug wires.
If your tube was completely missing you'd have a major oil leak.
Don't add anything to the oil.
