The green circled area is where I am missing this part (driver's side). It is on a 78 pace car.

The area circled in red is what the part looks like on the other side of the car (passenger side).

I don't think there is suppose to be one on the drivers side.

I was thinking the same thing. Can anyone confirm that there is or is not one on the driver's side?

That fiberglass piece is the mount for the fresh air vent actuator on the passenger side. You can replace the actuator and the door but the fiberglass only goes in with the fenders off.
