Ummm... As I have previously stated many times....

AVOID ECKLERS AT ALL COSTS

Ecklers is simply the WORST Corvette supplier out there. Their shipping sucks, they loose returns and their customer service, management AND owner could care less about you or your Vette!

I only buy there if I need that item ASAP because it's only 30 minutes or so from where I live..... They told my wife when she picked something up for me that they don't give a Corvette Forum discount... yes, avoid them ....

I have bought plenty from them and received over here in good order and decent times. 12,000 miles. A friend over here is also rebuilding his 81 and uses ecklers for most of his parts, no problems either. Combined parts for both our Vettes nearly $20,000.

If it doesn't move in another 24 hours, chances are it's 'lost'. I had a Fedex overnight package come from CA to PA. It went from the west coast to the east coast. From there it went to the midwest and finally back to the east coast. The package probably went over 5000 miles in transit but was there the next day.
Once a shipper get the item on the truck, they don't have any control over it. Typically they have to wait 7 days before UPS will start looking for it and normally its not found.

Well, I guess it's like everything -- your mileage may vary.

I have ordered several things from Ecklers, and have even had to return a few extra parts I ended up not needing. All were handled appropriately, and in a timely fashion. I would bet my habits are not too dissimilar from others -- couple hundred here, couple hundred there.

I also know that Eckler's site seems to provide a consistent amount of detail and pictures to help understand that you're really buying the right part.

I'm still on my honeymoon with my vette -- we've been together for almost three months!

I placed my 1 st order with Eckler's about 1 month ago. I purchased from them because I received a 10% discount via E-Mail. I guess they had sent it because I registered on their web site about a year ago and have not made any purchases.
I bought about $600 worth of items and saved $60.
Still have not recieved the brake line clips and another item that are on back order. Shipping was a little slower than most. But they were quality items and well packaged.
I did recieved a Speedo/Tach lens that Ecklers had sent with a damaged box. Not done by UPS because the shipping box no absolutely no signs on damage. When I called Ecklers, the woman was very quick to ship me a replacement ($50 part). I asked if they wanted the damaged lens back and she stated no, they can't do anything with it. The lens had a 1/4" scratch on the side. I did not want it going in my restoration but most people would never notice. Just sold it on E-Bay for almost what I paid for it.
Not bad!

I havent ordered from them because everything seems to be at least 30% more than most other vendors.
