Every year I go storm chasing around the mid west and every chase vehicle has rain-X on them all the way around!
BTW I don't take that vette on that trip, but I do use rain-X on her.

Got some free from a friend who was cleaning out his garage a couple years ago when he was moving overseas. I've kept a bottle of it ever since and use it on all my vehicles.
There's a product that's carried in our local supermarket called "Barkeeper's Friend" that really cleans the windshield before applying the Rain-X. Saw this tip on one of the Saturday afternoon TV car shows. No haze and all the benefits of super sheeting action. Makes driving in the rain fun.
I've used Rain-X and liked it except for the haze problem. I'm currently using a product called Castrol Accuvision. You clean the windshield and then spray this on just like windex and wipe it off. It seems to have a lot less haze than the Rain-X but gives you the same sheeting action.
