Hey ~Thanks to all of you who have purchased from us or just called and asked for advise. We will continue to do our best to provide the knowledge to go along with the components.(as well as our cover on our catalogs)~

Apparently, they're a supporting vendor too. Another good reason to do business with them!

Wow. This must be the most positive vendor thread that I've seen in a long time.

I was aware of SD, but never tried them. I guess that will have to change!

When I was searching for a crate engine, I called several sources. I was surprised that some of the crate engine suppliers were not that easy to talk with. I guess the crate engine suppliers get a lot of time-wasting phone calls from people who really can't afford the engines, etc.

Scroggin Dickey was very helpful right at the start. They could answer all my questions. They modified my ZZ4 to a Hot Cam ZZ4 before shipment. I bought my GMPP Serpentine Kit from them. It apparently was dropped shipped from GM and arrived with some minor shipping damage. Scroggin Dickey immediately replaced the damaged part with no question. I bought some other parts for the ZZ4. They immediately knew what the GM part numbers were that would fit the engine.

I really have enjoyed all my experiences with them.

When I got my vette, it had a new G.M. crate motor in it. They sent me all the break in info and initial timing specs, and they did not sell me the engine. They will get all my parts bussiness

I can attest to that. I bought a 350/330 crate motor from them in aug of last year. I had it shipped to GA, from SDPC for about $1,000 cheaper than I could buy it in GA.
Engine is a strong runner too .
