Has anyone got any opinions good or bad ? I like some of their crate engines, especialy the 383's. I want to drop something into my '69 this winter and I have just begun shopping.

I bought my heads from them. They seem to have it together as a business. They have alot of what Summit & Jegs offer & a few things they don't offer. Prices are competitive too. I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them again.

I wasn't impressed with their showroom, they DO have a 572 sitting there in the floor though. Since I live near Lubbock TX (originally) I have bought countless parts from them. I have found them very knowledgable, and I don't know if it means much, but they are the only people my Dad trusts to buy parts from.

I have only good things to say about them also.

As for their showroom, what do you expect in Lubbock? It is not exactly hot rod heaven.

Default I've bought lots from them, real real pros.

I've bought motors, heads, etc... from them. Real pros. One day shipping from there to Dallas. Find the right guy, and they are as knowledgable as you can find.

Default Sdpc

I learned about these guys from a book I picked up called "Small Block Chevy Buildups". They bought most of the parts from SDPC and dyno'd as they added parts to identify the HP/TQ benefit for each of the parts added. At the end of each addition they show dyno results and a list of the parts they have in the buildup. Good book and it recommends them.

Each purchase has been a good experience and everyone I've spoken to was knowledgable, helpful and friendly. Their shipping rates for crate engines are pretty decent as well. Finally, this may seem silly, but their current catalog has one of the best looking covers I've seen in a long time and it's just plain cool to look through. It's my wish-book.

Hey! I like Lubbock, like sometimes in the summer when it's nice and hot, and you are on your front porch with your woman, it's such a special moment then the wind comes across the cow pastures... I believe, at that point, God laughs at us.
