Default Hooker headers and sidepipes

Interested in puting side mount headers and pipes on a '78. Does the install involve cutting parts of the car to get them to fit? Heard conflicting reports. Thanx

You may need to trim a little bit of the rocker panel molding and some of the fiberglass underneath. I did. Some people did not. The Hokkers come with instructions and a template. Best advice is to install the pipes, make your own template out of cardboard and transfer to your rocker panels. I did not and trimmed a bit too much on the passenger side. Every car is different.

And, if you ever pull the pipes off, just put new rocker panels on and no-one will see any evidence of trimming.
