dont drive
The reason I dont drive it right now is its on jackstands. I am putting on steeroids and then need new tires/rims. Once thats done I'll drive it every day possible. Cant wait to get back to houston with it.

Ya know...I'd love to drive my 72 to work EVERYDAY. But this parking lot is a battle zone. Too many MORONS. This is at 6am with NOBODY in the lot!!! "The sun got in my eyes" was the explanation.

I rarely see them here around Annapolis. Even at a local Corvette club, I thought the number and selection was low. It seems I see C-2's more than C-3's on the road. When I do see a C-3, they more often than not are rough looking.

There's a few around here. I see more 78-82's than the notchbacks. There is a couple 75-77s down the street and my neighbor has a 74 vert. Seems like I notice the C3's more since acquiring one, but they definately aren't as common anymore. Especially 68-72. I drove mine a bunch this summer. Gets a lot of looks. Although with the gas lately, I have been laying off it a little.

I drive it 2x - 3x per week. There's a '76 L-82 yellow that's about a mile from my home....never gets driven! It sits til it gets a parking ticket, then he moves it across the street for another month.
I also see a(nother) brown one probably '78 or so, at Costco. It's a daily driver though, and sits in Costco's lot all day. It is pretty well beat up. That yellow L-82 looks much cleaner, and it needs paint. Rear bumper has been replaced and not painted to match the car yet. I've been here for two years now, and the car looks the same now it did then so obviously it's not a current project for whomever owns it.

Wow ...great picture!
I'm looking forward to driving my 81 quite a bit once I get it finished. Probably won't be until late fall or next spring the way it's going. Still I can't wait. My only main concern is safety. I don't know how safe that thing is?

I drive mine maybe 2 x a week. Once on a Saturday, and once on a Sunday.
When I drive to work I can only recall seeing 1 C3. That is over a 3 years time since I have lived here in San Jose. I see TONS of C5s and less C4s and occaisonally a nice looking C2. But hardly ever any C3s.

For us guys that have put a lot of work and money into our C3's we don't want the hassle of some knucklehead damaging it and would rather leave it in the garage and just drive it occasionally, like on weekends or to shows.
