You're "reppin" 92128 within your forum name. Why? Rancho Bernardo is famous only for having the most banks per sq. mile/per capita...(and old folks driving Mercury Marquis' or customized golf carts).

So...instead of coming over to the C3 forum & talkin' sheet, why don't you go down to Torrey Pines High and spray paint their school or something?
My grandpa used to drive a C4...
Odd...I didn't realize that I was the one talkin "sheet". I love C3s, as I do all Vettes...and I'm not in High School idiot (though by the way you talk I would assume you haven't even gotten that far), so why would I spray paint a HS, or anything for that matter?...and why the racial attack...

Sometimes people dont even know the differences between the years much less the body styles. The C4s have as much year to year differences as the C3s do. The 1990 year is very much like the 1973 year. It is a cross over year between major changes. That is the year that the interior changed with the new dash array, yet it maintained the same rear end body style as the previous years. I think it also may have had the newer style front end, but not 100% sure. So when they say you can get a great deal on a 89....yeah...and.....?????
Tell me where I can get a great deal on a 79, or better yet a 69 and I will be there with cash in hand.
Imagine saying you bought a 69 camaro, and the person says, yeah but you could have got a new 99 for the same price. Totally different car, totally different perspective.
I have a 86 vette that I use as my daily driver. I love it. I would not take my 2 C3s as my daily driver though, because I like the driveability that the C4 offers over the C3s. The C3 is more of my classic weekend cruiser. Plain....or Peanut. Like M&Ms, its all owner preference.
Mainly, people are jealous when you mention Corvette, expecially a classic Stingray, so they "one-up" you and say you could have gotten a better one even cheaper, like they're the expert and not you.

I have lots of people tell me that I could have had a C-4 or a C-5 for what I have in my C-3. These are also the same folks that ask if mine is a Stingray. So for all of them the explanation just isn't worth the effort.
