I have no idea what is happening in here. you guys are so far off topic and using words that mean nothing to me.
Bottom line:
80s camaros and irocs are the ultimate white trash cars, and C4s look like super camaros. same concept... same lines. they look like they are for the trash that have cut their mullett and upgraded, but still live in the trailer park.
One of the models has to be on the bottom of the totem pole. Unforunately, right now it's the C4. Unless Chevy makes another big mistake it will remain on the bottom. Some people look at it as bashing that model, and others look at it as being truthful and honest. I'd sooner have a C4 than a Rambler stationwagon. There are nicer cars, C3 for instance, than the C4 as well as uglier cars.
I. I cant tell you how many actual Vette enthusiasts I've come across at shows or drive-ins, and of varying ages, that make the C4/ Camaro comments. ) .
This was interesting to me. I still clearly remember the incident of seeing my first C4. It was a front view. I actually thought it was a Camaro.
I have been thinking about getting a used C4 or C5 for a daily driver. I see some well maintained C4's that look good. However, when I received my insurance money for my stolen 69 BB, I test drove two used C4's. At that time, I passed up the the option to buy a C4 and instead bought a 70 BB.

C'mon Bryan, the cars weren't that bad were they? I had an '89 IROC-Z I bought new and owned it until '95, when I sold it and bought my '80 Vette. I enjoyed owning the IROC but I never had a mullett and never lived in a trailer park. I did listen to heavy metal music though . As for Corvettes, I'd like to own a fine example of one from each generation. The C3 body style is still my favorite.
When I was looking for my '72 vert, they were priced about the same as 92-96s, when someone asked me why not the newer one, I would reply with somethong like this:
I like the shark look of the 70-72 cars and their price is going up each year while the 92-96s are still comming down.
I get frustrated at times with my C3, thinking I should have bought a C5 / C6 with all the money I have in my car. But then my wife is always quick to remind me..."Do you want a Hot Rod or just a sports car?"

COME ON! I BOUGHT A BRAND NEW 87' IROC WITH A 5.7 AND IT WAS A GREAT CAR!

I opt for the Hot Rod thank you...

DON'T FORGET THAT LOOK OF PRIDE YOU HAVE WHEN SOMEONE ASK ABOUT YOUR C3; YOU DON'T GET THAT WITH A C4.
So this thread accomplished ......(?) . I dont get it, this is a c-3 thread, of course we are going to think that c-3 is better than c-4, or c-2,c-5 c-6 or we'd be in that thread. On the other hand I dont understand what all that stuff about "reppin" or "pretty white rb boyz" had to do with anything, except to insult people

Odd...I have people asking me about me '92 all the time. Almost everytime I fill up with gas, stop at a restaurant or anyplace like the, people always come up and ask about the car and compliment it...I guess that could mean that "you" don't get that with a C4 (I guess you would know since you own one right?). All that really matters, is at the end of the day, chicks (atleast ones my age) dig C4s ALOT.

At this point in time we own and drive a C3, but for most of us we have owned other great cars in our lives we were proud of also. I know way back when I owned a 1970 Hemi Cuda, I was so proud of it when it was delivered and I drove it off the dealer's lot. At that point in time I hunted for Corvettes to prove I was better and faster. We now own 5 cars (not all Vettes) and each one is special in their own way. But I'd gladly take back that 426 Hemi Cuda today. In the 70's I thought Vette drivers were snobs, the way this post it knockin other Vette years and owners almost proves my point of 35 years ago. I truly enjoy my 71 & 79 and think they are the best, just as anyone with any year Vette thinks of theirs. My 0.2
When I try to explain to these folks that I don't particularly care for the 89 body style.... that it looks too straight, or to plain, has no character or uniqueness about it..... they stare at me like I am brain dead. BLVette75
Tell them "If the ride is mo fly, you must buy"
At least that is what Snoop Dogg would say, fo shizzle.
