Corvette Barn Find!
Its no C3 specific, but you are the guys I talk to most so, look what I found...
It is in a storage space right behind mine where I store my car. The two spaces share an electrical outlet and the only way I can see it is through a 4" x 4" square. I want to find out who owns it and if I can save it, what do you think the best way of going about it is?

Wow...what a find. I agree that it appears the owner hasn't seen it in a while. Old race car maybe...huge rear tires coming out past the fenders, hard top, no wipers.
Someone needs to save that Vette!

Good luck with inquiry. Chances are, the owner still has it for a reason. But you don't have anything to lose!

Neat find. Maybe the storage people will let you know the owners name or at least send a letter to them that you had pre-written and stamped.

I say "go for it"!
I tried to snag a "barn car" about 25 years ago by contacting the owner. I had to do a bunch of legwork but I did manage to track him down. The guy storing it gave me the name of the owner and he turned out to be a guy I rode the bus with back in grade school. Ultimately bought the car from him a few months later. My mother towed it home for me with a rope behind her Granada.
Still have it. Picture in my profile

There is definitely a story behind it:
1) Im saving it for my son
2) Im saving it for my grandson
3) Im going to restore it when I get the time
4) Im going to restore it when I get money
5) It's my brothers and he is overseas in military
etc... etc...
However, you never know till you ask. Maybe, just maybe.....
Keep us posted.

I found this on in Michigan in an old lady's garage, but she thought it was worth about $30K in the condition it's in. Her name is (believe it or not) Lovely. I think I have her number if anyone want to call her. Her husband died about 25 years ago, and there it sits.
