69 Wiper problems
I need help choosing a repair manual that will guide me through trouble shooting a windshield wiper system that doesn't work on a 69 big block corvette. The door opens but the wipers won't come on. I can hear the motor making a click sound when the switch is turned on so I'm sure power is getting to the motor, no blown fuse or anything like that. I've bought one repair manual but it doesn't cover this section well enough. I'm not sure if the problem is electrical or vacuum or? I feel that a better repair manual would help me trouble shoot the problem but which one should I purchase? Any help? Thanks, Fred.

Not sure if this is the problem but there is a vacuum switch located at the base of the passenger side wiper arm. It looks like a minature verson of a vacuum relay. That might be your problem. Check out corvettefaq.com website . They have articles on how to troubleshoot.
