Has anyone tried one of those work from home things or similar that you see on the internet. If so how does it work.

Here's how it works:

You send the company a $25 "application fee". They send you a pamphlet explaining how to rip-off the next guy.

Easy money!

In the olden days it was called a Pyramid scheme and it was illegal. Remeber if it sounds too good to be true...... well it probably is.

If it was that easy everybody would be doing. I guess there are a lot of people who still fall for it.

Some of the schemes pay you pennies for each spam email you send out. Send a 100 spam emails = make a $1.00

If you do all the crap to satisfy the "Free Plasma TV", "Free Computer" offers that you get every day, you will pi** off everyone you know and have spent way more time to get it than it would have taken to earn the money to buy it. And the emails I get from all the girls that want to have a hot time with me tonight, well you get the picture.

Ranks right up there with sending your money off to become a mystery shopper, because 40,000 business a day are looking for mystery shoppers, and you can make $500 a day and keep the products free.

Working from home is certainly possible but you have to have alot of dedication, a marketable idea (could be the hard part), and do a lot of hard work. Those schemes are just pandering to people's desire to be lazy, as are 99% of the mail-order things on TV.

I'm getting lots of junk in my regular mail... now this is funny: Very often they include a pre-paid return envelope.... .... I simply remove all my personal info from their junk and send it back... sometimes I "add" some other "stuff" to that envelope.... that's fun....

Easy money!

And the only ones making any money are the ones that come up with the scheme.
