I think they look great ! I replaced all mine with NOS about three years ago. Cost me about $500.00 for alll of them...I lucked out on the center and left side. The right side was the hardest to find and the most expensive. If I had to do it again....I would probably redo the ones I had.

It was just a can of leftover spray paint I had in the basement, not something I searched for to use on my grills. Can't say they look factory tho. I have seen original 68 grills and they look very different.... problem is the ones I have seen are pretty rough and peeling so I really can't tell what they looked like from the factory.
I have a pic of a 68 bowtie, but it was in a dark garage so the grill doesn't show up too well.
