heh i know what thats like, i lived through it just a few years ago. was always getting hell because i drove a vette and not a civic/accord/import.
i still get hell for it when i have to stop into my sisters school because i dont have it droped and riced. although its more of a mixed reaction there. i get jaw drops and finger pointing, along with shouts of needing neons, hydraulics and spinners.

I happen to love my 79.....and I don't slam other vettes. I don't like the engine in mine therefore I'll put in a new one... People who don't like that...tough luck...it's mine....
A Vette is a Vette....They all have their imperfections/idiosyncrisies to include the brand new C-6's.
Biggest problems with C-5's and C-6's are the owners anyway...not the cars.
Why are we bashing each other..? Mustangs deserve to be bashed.

Excellent point. To sterotype for a second - a LOT of those C6 owners look like the I'm-a-rich-lawyer-doctor-and-never-do-any-of-my-own-work-on-it types. Instant a$& hole, just add money
As far as the Mustang goes, I must confess, I came VERY close to buying an '05. If you haven't driven the GT 5 spd, then you don't know what I'm talking about. I loved it! The leather seats (designed by Volvo) are awesome, as are the gauges. And it's fast ! But, I wasn't going to pay sticker, much less thousands over sticker (even for a used one at one place) so I stuck with tried and true Chevy and bought a '70 Vette and I love it!

I'm glad to see the curves coming back with the C6. If I could afford one, I'd buy it.
