early corvette(57-62),boss 429 mustang, ford gt-40, my old "69 ford torino tallegda that i modified with a 427 and traded for a ford pinto in '72 another story. by the way you guys wanting a '69 or '70 mach 1 mustang if you find one buy the '70 has the 351 cleveland motor which is a better engine than the windsor 351 in my opinion. by the way Tony Sinclair i had a a '66 shelby clone that i built car was a blast to drive light weight would oversteer with throttle in corners.
I bought my favorite muscle car this past spring, a 64 GTO with tri-power and 4-speed. Am currently doing a body off resto on it. It may not be like the super high buck original cars that I see being sold for megabucks, but it will be a cool car. It is a two door hardtop when finished it will be all black exterior witha white interior with Cragar SS wheels. Currently the motor has been rebuilt and is sitting in the frame which was blasted and sprayed along with all suspension parts. Slowly taking shape.
This goes along with my 78 Vette with 26K miles on that is 99% original yet. Even the exhaust system. Not a muscle car per se but I get a ton of compliments on it. I wish they would quit ripping on them though in OT.
It'll run, provided you keep it tuned right...Slap some Webers on it, redo the heads on it, and replace all the seals/gaskets.
As for my cars:
Well, let's see...Got a '67 Jaguar XKE 2+2 (looks like a big green *****), so I'd have to go with a late 60's/early 70's Plymouth Belvedere GTX. Looks inocuous, and is a sleeper.
