What date was your car built? If it's not really early, then this mirror is a little too old for your car to be realistic.
I can't find my NCRS book for the 70-72...what a mess I'm in. Trying to restore a Corvette with no restoration guide. That's why I'm picking you guy's brains. I did find a 72 mirror nearby which IS correct for the 1972. I REALLY did follow exactly what you said about the mirror being "to" early(1971).
Where can I buy another NCRS book? It has a powder blue cover w/black printing....any idea?

You can buy a new Judging manual at NCRS.org. You can buy just the mirror glass dated at Paragon and put it any mirror head. They have passed judging for me.

I wonder what Paragon gets for the glass? Do you remember?
The NCRS is a go...I'll just buy a new one(updated)
