Ball mill or Smooth
Okay I'm ridin the fence on which finish to order on my new chrome cast aluminum valve covers. So please chime in.

You had to ask didn't you...
They both look cool and I have been asking myself the same question.
I do keep going back to the Proform cast valve covers with the Chevy logo on them though.

Yeah I really like those too except I can't do the $180 for the chrome ones. I did however find the same cover in ball or smooth finish and they are chrome for $99.

I've always liked ball milled....coupled with a ball milled air cleaner. Classy & clean looking. Painting the grooves to match the engine is an option with those also...

Here's a photo of my covers (old and new) - I got the tall ones, cast aluminum ball milled for $59 on Ebay.....
