Did not do the bolts yet... I wanna get the short fiberglass spring first... and some rear suspension goodies installed. I need to make the booty look good from underneath.

Looks great. I'd like to hear what kind of fuel economy you are getting with that LS. How is the performance and what trans are you using?

Mike - Why don't you come down in the Spring and I'll take you for a spin. It's on jack stands right now getting mods, but will be back on the road in March.

Since I got my 680 AED Double Pumper.... Performance is definitely UP!
When the secondary kicks in.... WOW!!!
FUEL ECONOMY what is that??? I am running a th350 with non locking stall...
One day I will move up to a 200R4...with lockup and 3300 stall. I guess I will keep my 3.23 gear then... then again... 3.73 would be really NICE!

Did you notice any difference with the weight savings up front? Does it handle any different?

Weight saving... YES! MY front end sat up about 2 inches...
I think it is a little more than 150lbs difference...I had to cut 1.5 coils out...
Hell my father and I lifted the LS1 motor into the back of his Chevy truck. IT was heavy but we could do it without a cherry picker.
Handling... well... NO because I have skinney tires on the front. No curves for me. I like to cruise and go in a striaght line.
