I don't think that Camaro will get GM back on line.Even if they come out with a better looking Camaro they will still need more product line to get them in the black.I say forget all the trucks.Let GMC do that and have chevy concentrate on RWD cars. The Camaro alone won't get it.

First off, focusing on the SUV, and bigger is better line of thought that GM is using just ain't goin' cut it. Especially with the price of gas being so unstable. Bring the Camaro back (but a nice retro looking one to rival the Mustang, etc.) would be a start. At least it would get folks who either can't afford a Corvette or don't want to pony up the $$$ for a Vette back looking the Chevy/GM line again. Mopar is coming out with a stunning new Challanger, I believe next year. GM needs to do something better then the "GTO", which IMHO looks more like a 2 door Grand Am then a GTO.
GM makes some pretty decent vehicles... especially sports cars w/ the latest gen vette, as well as other guys like GTO, Solstice, and Sky (redline is gonna be pretty hot). Another nice car is gonna certainly help.... and I love the looks of that red one at the top of the page... I hope chevy takes a que and throws a few of those design characteristics into their car. The real problem at GM though isn't nice vehicles, or even a lack of people who want them. Granted they have some issues from time to time, but all manufactures do. GM has management and coorporate issues that are the major cause of all their problems, I'm not saying I'd be able to do better.......... just that it seems like in those two respects Ford and Daimler Chrysler have left GM in the dust and down for a ten count.
