New engine and hookers headers pics

new engine and SIDE PIPES BABY!!!!!!

my new engine!!!

i bought the hookers used and i cleaned them up and panted the header part black and cleaned up the chrome side tubes. it looks great.

the engine in the car.

That black/chrome look for the sidepipes is a different look. I kind of like it.

Mine are the flipped version of those...chrome headers and black pipes

68, I'm at work and can't see the pics

What paint did you use on the headers and how did you prep? I've got a set of the Hookers that needs the header section rechromed, but the side pipes are perfect. I've thought of painting the headers, but half of the chrome is still on there. Your way seems like the logical thing to do. More info, please!!!
