i bought the hookers used and i cleaned them up and panted the header part black and cleaned up the chrome side tubes. it looks great.

What paint did you use on the headers and how did you prep? I've got a set of the Hookers that needs the header section rechromed, but the side pipes are perfect. I've thought of painting the headers, but half of the chrome is still on there. Your way seems like the logical thing to do. More info, please!!!
