Default interior help!!

hi
i just bought a cut pile carpet from willcox and i was led to believe that it fits right into palce however i seem to have about 6 inches of carpet all the way around that is extra do i just cut it off or did i put it in wrong??
i also bought the delux door panels and there is no hole for the mirror adjustor is there supposed to be or do i make my owne hole??
any help would be apprecated

If you got it in there correctly it will be tucked in nicely to the tunnel and not have any wrinkles in the corners. There was probly some extra included that is to be tucked under the door sills and some front and back to make up for any variencees here and there, Call them to verifyu their kit and then trim it.
The door panels were made for the non remote type mirrors, just carefully cut the holes to match the old ones and you will be ok.
Post pics when you have it done and do a little write up on how it all went

I put in Willcox carpet in my '74 about a month ago and it had to be trimmed all alround. Both the front and rear needed the trim.

I put Willcox carpet in mine and did not have to trim anything.
